Liaison Librarian Services and Academic Support

For Faculty

Liaison librarians partner with faculty to strengthen teaching, research, and course design. Support includes:

  • Course-integrated instruction for undergraduate and graduate classes
  • Assignment design consultation, scaffolding, and research skill-building strategies
  • Custom LibGuides tailored to courses, departments, and programs
  • Workshop development and collaborative teaching opportunities
  • Resource recommendations, including databases, journals, ebooks, and media
  • Support for curriculum planning and aligning resources with program goals
For Students

Students receive individualized research and learning support designed to build confidence and deepen academic skills. Services include:

  • One-on-one research consultations (in person or online)
  • Help locating, evaluating, and accessing library materials
  • Guidance for theses, capstones, dissertations, and independent research
  • Support with topic development, source selection, and citation
  • Access to custom course and department guides for targeted help
